Renata – Front Office Coordinator

My name is Renata and I am the Front Office Coordinator.
I’ve been working in the dental field for 25 years. I am a lifetime member of The American Association of Dental Office Managers and in 2012 I received a prestigious Fellowship Award from that Association.

I am proud to be a part of Dr. Maldonado’s great team, who deliver beautiful smiles, quality care, great service, and the newest technology. I am committed to constantly expanding my knowledge to assure our patients get the highest levels of service and professionalism.

I live in Randolph with my husband, three daughters and my dog Luna. In my free time I love to read, dance, hike, bike, and travel with my family to explore the world.

Kara – Dental Hygienist

My name is Kara and I graduated from Bergen Community College Dental Hygiene program in 2019. I joined Dr. Maldonado’s team in 2021 and I am very proud to be part of a team that thrives on delivering the highest quality care to its patients.

My favorite part of being a hygienist is building a trusting relationship with my patients. I enjoy connecting with my patients and helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral health. I always want to provide thorough, pain-free, and anxiety-free hygiene visits.

When I am not at work I am usually with friends and family. I enjoy golfing with my dad and hanging out with my one-eyed cat named Thomas

Joann – Dental Hygienist

My name is Joann and I am a graduate of the Bergen Community College Dental Hygiene Program, class of 1993, where I earned my Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene.

I have been working in the dental field for almost 35 years. I started my career in 1988 as a part-time Dental Assistant and found my calling as a Dental Hygienist.

I joined Dr. Maldonado’s team in December of 2007, where I had the opportunity to continuously enhance my dental hygiene skills by employing the latest advancements in the dental field. I enjoy providing my patients with the care, education, and information they need to help them achieve the “winning smile” they desire.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Gary, son, Nikolas, and our 2 dogs, Alba and Josie. We enjoy vacationing in the Outer Banks and Disney World.

Lori – Certified Dental Assistant

My name is Lori and I am a certified dental assistant. I received my certification and training from Berdan Institute in Totowa N.J.

I have been in the dental field for over 34 years, and have been with Dr. Maldonado as one of the practices dental assistants, and front office helpers since graduating in 1988.

I pride myself on making sure that our patients are greeted with a smile, are completely comfortable, and are well taken care of throughout their dental appointments. I truly enjoy working in Dr. Maldonado’s practice, it’s my second family. I have been fortunate enough to see some of our patients grow up and even have families of their own.

When not at work, Lori enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband Don and kids, Brianna, Kayla, & Stephen.

Teresa – Registered Dental Assistant

My name is Teresa and I am a registered dental hygienist here at Wayne Dental Arts. My career began in 2001 after graduating from Kearny High School having completed a two year dental assisting course.

I went on to earn my dental radiography license, dental assisting certification, and registration as an expanded functions assistant from Dental Studies Insititute in Fairfield, NJ. Continuously updating my knowledge and skills in the dental field is a major priority to assure that I am doing my part in providing our patients with exceptional care.

I am compassionately attentive and am sure to be a pleasant and informative companion during your dental visits here with us. What I love about being a member of our team is that we have the common goal to provide the highest standard of care to so many people every day. Each one of us is focused on helping to enhance our patients’ lives and we have cultivated such a happy environment because we truly feel lucky to continue to work together all these years.

In my free time, I laugh as much as possible alongside my husband and our three children. We spend our time enjoying nature together and having spontaneous adventures. I also love a good book or podcast when catching some time for myself.
